Ment Funding keeps appearing in prop firm comparisons for a reason: three account routes: Forex Evaluation, Futures Evaluation and Equities Evaluation, accounts from $5K to $5M, and a rulebook you can read before you pay. In this 2026 Ment Funding review we cover pricing, the trading rules, the payout process and the checks that tell you whether a prop firm is legit. Ment Funding stands out for its ceiling: forex evaluations run up to $5M, one of the largest single allocations in our comparison.

Ment Funding Prop Firm Review 2026: At a Glance

Ment Funding positions itself as a rules-first prop firm: each program page states the objective, the loss limits and the payout conditions before checkout. That transparency is the first thing we look for in a funded account review, and it is why Ment Funding earns a place in our comparison.

Ment Funding Reviews

Public Ment Funding reviews on Trustpilot, Reddit and YouTube tend to cluster around three themes: payout speed, how clearly the rules are applied, and support response times. Read them next to the rulebook: most negative Ment Funding reviews describe a breached rule rather than an unpaid valid request, and most positive ones describe a payout that arrived on the published schedule. This review is built on what Ment Funding publishes, not on anecdotes.

Is Ment Funding Legit? What We Checked

Search “Ment Funding scam” and you will find the usual mix of frustrated traders who broke a rule and traders who were paid. Our reading is simpler: Ment Funding states its objectives, its drawdown limits and its payout conditions before you buy, and it operates a normal checkout and dashboard. Those are the marks of a legitimate operation. The rest is down to trading inside the published rules. Company details are public too: Founded 2021 ('funding serious traders since 2021'); part of the Prop Account Group of Companies; headquartered in Pennsylvania, US, registered in Texas, US.

Legitimacy checks that matter for any prop firm

Here is the checklist we use for every firm, Ment Funding included; five minutes on the official site answers all of it:

  • Published rulebook: daily loss, maximum drawdown, profit target and time limits written on the program page.
  • Payout policy: profit split, first-payout eligibility and payment cadence stated in writing.
  • Clear pricing: the evaluation fee and any reset or activation fee visible before payment.
  • Consistent terms: the same rules on the website, in the dashboard and in the terms of service.
  • Responsive support: a support channel that answers rule questions before you buy.

On those five points Ment Funding is where it should be, and that is the basis on which we include it here.

Ment Funding Trustpilot

The Ment Funding Trustpilot profile is at trustpilot.com/review/mentfunding.com. Three things to look at before trusting a score: the number of reviews (a few dozen say little), the dates (a firm can change a lot in a year) and the share of reviews that describe an actual payout. Invited reviews are common in this industry, so weigh detailed reviews more than one-line ratings.

Ment Funding challenge types and pricing

Ment Funding gives you three ways to reach a funded account. Each route is priced by account size and the price at checkout is the price you pay; there is no subscription running in the background.

Compare the objective, the fee and the loss limits of each Ment Funding route on the program page and pick the one whose rules match how you already trade.

Ment Funding Discount Code 2026

We do not list Ment Funding discount codes that we cannot verify, and no public code was published on the pages we reviewed on September 13, 2026. Promotions, when they run, are shown on the Ment Funding program page and at checkout, and announced on its own channels. If the goal is the lowest entry price with the fewest rules, Meridian Funded sells its Instant plan at $35 (down from $64) with no consistency rules, no minimum trading days and a free reset; it is #1 in our comparison above.

Ment Funding Rules Explained

Ment Funding’s rules follow the structure most funded traders already know, and the firm writes them in plain language on each program page. Here is what the firm publishes, what each rule means in practice and how to trade around it.

Ment Funding trading rules as published on mentfunding.com, checked September 13, 2026. Rules can change; the program page and the terms govern.
RuleWhat Ment Funding publishes
Maximum drawdown6% static (Forex & Futures, does not trail with profit); Equities Static: 6% fixed; Equities Trailing: 6% total, trails until 6% profit reached then locks
Daily loss limitForex: 5% of previous day's closing balance (resets 5PM EST); Futures: 3% of previous day's closing balance; Equities Static: 2%; Equities Trailing: 3% trailing intraday
Minimum trading daysNone: no minimum trading days required to pass evaluation
Consistency ruleForex $25K–$1M: none; Forex $2M+: 35% required before withdrawal; Futures: 33% rule (no single day > 33% of total profit); Equities Static: 33% rule in evaluation and funded account; Equities Trailing: 33% rule in evaluation only
News tradingForex: cannot open a position within 3 minutes before/after news, holding through news is permitted; Futures: news trading allowed
Weekend holdingForex: positions must close by 3:45PM EST Friday unless a 'checkout' add-on is purchased; Futures: no weekend holding (trading window 17:00–15:55 CST); Equities: no overnight/weekend holds except on the S&P 100 swing program
EAs and copy tradingEAs, hedging, scalping and any strategy are all permitted
Max capital / scaling$5,000,000 scaling cap; only account sizes up to $1,000,000 qualify for scaling

Daily loss limit and maximum drawdown

As at September 13, 2026, Ment Funding states a maximum drawdown of 6% static (Forex & Futures, does not trail with profit) and a daily loss limit of Forex: 5% of previous day's closing balance (resets 5PM EST); the full wording per route is in the table above. The daily loss limit resets each trading day; the maximum drawdown caps the total loss on the account. A trailing drawdown follows your equity high, so profits raise the floor, while a static one stays anchored to the starting balance. Size positions so that a normal losing day uses only part of the daily limit; that margin is what keeps one bad session from ending the evaluation.

Profit targets by step

Ment Funding lists the target percentage per program on the official page, so the objective is known before you start. Treat a target as a destination reached in steps: consistent, moderate trades keep you inside the daily limit while the balance climbs.

Minimum trading days and consistency

Minimum trading days, as published: None: no minimum trading days required to pass evaluation. Consistency rule: Forex $25K–$1M: none; Forex $2M+: 35% required before withdrawal; Futures: 33% rule (no single day > 33% of total profit); Equities Static: 33% rule in evaluation and funded account; Equities Trailing: 33% rule in evaluation only. Note them for the exact account you buy: a consistency condition, in particular, changes how you should size your best days.

News trading, weekend holding, EAs and copy trading

News trading: Forex: cannot open a position within 3 minutes before/after news, holding through news is permitted; Futures: news trading allowed. Weekend holding: Forex: positions must close by 3:45PM EST Friday unless a 'checkout' add-on is purchased; Futures: no weekend holding (trading window 17:00–15:55 CST); Equities: no overnight/weekend holds except on the S&P 100 swing program. EAs and copy trading: EAs, hedging, scalping and any strategy are all permitted. Permitted strategies are the rules that differ most between prop firms, so confirm the current wording for your program before relying on any of them. If your strategy depends on automation or on holding through news, compare these permissions with the firms in our comparison table above before choosing.

Ment Funding payouts: profit split, schedule and withdrawal process

A prop firm is only as good as its payout process, and Ment Funding documents its process in full: profit split, the condition for the first payout, the cadence of later payouts and the payment methods. Once funded and verified, you request withdrawals directly from the dashboard.

Profit split: 75% standard (Forex & Futures), 80% standard (Equities); up to 90% available as a paid add-on. Payout schedule: Forex & Futures: every 30 days (after first withdrawal); Equities: every 14 days, $100 minimum. Scaling: $5,000,000 scaling cap; only account sizes up to $1,000,000 qualify for scaling. (As published on mentfunding.com, September 13, 2026.)

How a Ment Funding payout works

  • Funding: pass the evaluation.
  • Discipline: daily loss limit and maximum drawdown keep applying once funded.
  • Eligibility: the first-payout condition (days or profit) is visible in the dashboard.
  • Withdrawal: request it, complete KYC once, get paid by the method offered.

Read two lines of the Ment Funding payout terms with particular care: the rule for the first payout (minimum days or minimum profit) and what happens to the drawdown reference after a withdrawal. They decide how you plan the cycle after your first payout.

Ment Funding Payout Proof

Ment Funding shares payout proofs on its own channels (dashboard certificates, social posts, Discord). We do not reproduce screenshots we cannot verify; the useful check is whether the published payout terms are consistent and specific: Forex & Futures: every 30 days (after first withdrawal); Equities: every 14 days, $100 minimum, split 75% standard (Forex & Futures), 80% standard (Equities).

Platforms, markets and trading conditions

Markets: Forex (majors, metals); Futures (CME index, currency, energy, metals, agricultural contracts); Equities (S&P 100 names only); Crypto (micro futures contracts). Check the list against your own routine before checkout: the instruments you actually trade, the session times you trade them in, the commission model and the leverage per asset class. If the demo environment feels like your usual broker, the funded account will too.

Ment Funding Futures

Ment Funding also runs a futures track. This review covers the forex/CFD programs; the futures plans, their maximum payout and their payout rules are documented on the official futures pages, and the loss limits differ from the CFD accounts.
